The songs “Parallel Universe,” “Freeways” & “Paper Girl” are featured in the new, local (ABQ) feature-length drama, Black, written and directed by J. Starr Welty, that tells the interwoven tales of two girls: Regan, a young goth who fears her anger will someday consume her, and Phear, a genetically engineered bat-winged girl who believes she is destined to become evil. Both must struggle against the control of others to face themselves and discover what they truly are
The film is showing Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th, 10:30 pm, at the Guild Cinema in Albuquerque (3405 Central Ave NE, in Nob Hill, across from Flying Star). Tickets are $7 each.

congratulations! I didn’t get a chance to see Black, but now that I know you’re in the soundtrack I’ll seek it out.
